I watched a video on Facebook today posted by a Lakota man. The thanks I wrote above were inspired by the comments he wrote when he posted the video:
"No matter how much I hurt, no matter how hard life gets, I remember and think of my ancestors and know that their sacrifices and struggles were for my survival and the survival of our people ... I never forget their memory."
